PRIVACY — NO IDENTITY GAMES

Your mask. Your business.

A plain-language explanation of what ReallyThough collects, what stays private, and what you can control.

Last updated October 6, 2026. Owner contact details and jurisdiction-specific legal review were not supplied for this build.

What becomes public

Your pseudonymous username, avatar, optional bio, profile counts, posts, replies, attached approved media, reactions shown on content, and follow relationships may be visible to anyone, including people who are not signed in. A shareable post can travel beyond this site. Do not put private information in public content.

What stays private

Your sign-in email, authentication/security records, internal account identifiers, eligibility result, private settings, report identity, moderator notes, and temporary abuse-prevention signals are not part of your public profile or public-content API. We do not ask for a legal name, school, employer, precise location, or public birthday, and we do not build advertising or data-broker identity links from pseudonymous posts.

Age eligibility

ReallyThough is for people aged 13 and older. When you create an account, a neutral eligibility check evaluates the date you submit in memory. The submitted birth date is not retained; only the minimum eligibility result is stored privately. Age and birthday are never displayed publicly.

Content, reports, and safety

Posts, replies, reactions, uploaded media, and safety reports are processed to run the service. Uploaded images are re-encoded to remove EXIF and geolocation metadata; video metadata is stripped during safe MVP processing. Reports and moderation records are restricted to the people who need to review them. Angry, profane, rude, sarcastic, critical, or uncomfortable discussion is not automatically a violation.

Service providers and sharing

Supabase provides the configured database, authentication, and private media storage. We do not sell pseudonymous rant content or use it for real-world advertising profiles. Public content is shared when you choose to copy a link, use your device share sheet, or use another sharing control.

Retention and your controls

You can download your own account data or request account deletion in Privacy settings. Deletion removes your sign-in and owned records; content relationships needed for integrity may be removed or anonymized as the service's retention rules require. Temporary eligibility and abuse-prevention records expire. Some public posts may already have been copied or cached by other people or services, outside ReallyThough's control.

Blocking and privacy limits

Blocking reduces the blocked profile's content in your experience. It does not make a public post technically untraceable, erase copies already shared elsewhere, or guarantee that a person cannot recognize writing or contextual details. Please use the block, report, export, and delete controls when you need them.

Questions

For account-data requests, use the in-product download and deletion controls. For other privacy questions, contact the service operator through the contact channel published with the service.
